Trip to Tula
On October 3–5, a working trip was made to Tula and the Tula region. We visited seven boarding schools, which are prospective for our future cooperation, examined their living conditions, had a talk with their managers and children. We brought along gifts such as stationery (thanks to our dear colleagues from the Sozidaniye Foundation ), toys, board games, films, and food.
Besides, we met the head of the Tula Blood Service and agreed upon donor actions to be carried out at local companies and universities.
In Tula, we were greatly impressed by Lyceum No. 4, where we plan to carry out our Charity School program next year.
We express our deep gratitude to Galina A. Ratnikova, the adviser to the Tula Region Governor for a magnificent reception and all-round support!
New Benches and Chairs for Cherntsk School
New desks and chairs are ready for kids at the Cherntsk Boarding School. The Vladimir Smirnov Foundation jointly with the Sozidaniye Foundation supplied new furniture to the school.
Demonstration of Mama, I Gonna Kill You
On September 25, the High School of Economics arranged the demonstration and discussion of the documentary Mama, I Gonna Kill You directed by Elena Pogrebizhskaya and sponsored by the Vladimir Smirnov Foundation."All Together" Strategic Session
On September 16 – 17, the "All Together" Charity Assembly held a strategic session. We advance and design new development strategies in a hard Russian environment.
Donor Day
On 25 September, 139 people came to MGUPP to mark the Donor Day and donate 55.8 liters of blood. All blood donors received a thank-you letter and promotional gifts from the Blood Center of the Federal Biomedical Agency of Russia. Thank you ALL so much!!!
Visit to Kolychev Boarding School
On September 16, 2013, we visited the Kolychev Boarding School to check the compliance with the orders of Olga Golodets, Vice Prime Minister, issued after the sensational documentary of Е. Pogrebizhskaya Mama, I Gonna Kill You shot in this boarding school.
Donorship
Fall. The time for donorship. We visited our dear doctors and congratulated them on the holiday. Together we continue our efforts in blood collection.
School Year Begins
Before the school year started, we bought materials for handicraft work such as decoupage, quilling and other for our fosterlings from the Cherntsk School Boarding school.
Russian Film in Berlin
On August 29, the Berlin WABE Culture Center showed the documentary Mama, I Gonna Kill You sponsored by our Foundation. The film exposes the life in a Russian orphan boarding school of the Moscow region. The picture had a wide public response. The discussion lasted more than three hours.
Mama, I Gonna Kill You goes to Portland
The film "Mama, I Gonna Kill" You directed by Elena Pogrebizhskaya and sponsored by the Vladimir Smirnov Foundation, goes the Portland international film festival to be held from August 27 to September 1.
We are proud of Elena and are awaiting news from the festival! We invite those who didn't see the film to come this Sunday, August 11, to the ArteFAQ coffee shop, where the picture will be demonstrated and discussed. The performance begins at 6 p.m. You're welcome!
