House-Warming at Home of ROST
On June 12, we had a house-warming party at the Home of ROST! Five boys from the dissolved Petrovsky Boarding School together with their wonderful guardian Sveta moved in a snug three-room apartment. This event was celebrated all day long. We had gifts from marvelous guests, a picnic, bathing in the river and yacht launching, a tea-party with plenty of delicious things! The event attracted a large number of participants who were having fun and reluctant to part with each other!
The important thing is that our children will not live in an orphan asylum, they will live in their own home. And that is a real miracle!

This year the jury is led by Dmitry Astrakhan, movie and theatre stage director, an honored art worker of Russia.
Home of ROST. Good News
Last May, the Home of ROST, a center of adoptive family in the Ivanovo Region for parentless children, saw renovation completed and new furniture delivered. Room and kitchen furniture, various appurtenances, crockery, lamps, carpets, and many other things were supplied by IKEA free of charge.
The company organized delivery and handling. We are extremely grateful to IKEA for its assistance. The new inhabitants of the family center, boys and girls from the Cherntsky Boarding School, unloaded, assembled and arranged furniture. Help came from our friends and former inhabitants. Our partners from the Sozidanie Foundation brought us pillows, blankets and bed-clothes and beautiful carpets for the drawing room and nursery, toys and clothes. Thank you all so much!
