MARCH 13TH: GOOD BEGINNING OF THE WORKING WEEK
Our week has started with important meetings, among them the meeting with the third-graders of the Moscow school № 121, where we are setting up the "The School of Charity. Lifestyle" project. The guys appeared to be very wise and responsive. We were amazed at their freedom and the desire to reflect on mutual assistance.
Children told us about their proposals for the implementation of the good deeds. We were glad that the children remembered about animals, about the unfortunate lonely old people, about environmental problems, and what is especially important - about their loved ones, who especially need attention, help in household chores. The guys drew the emblem of their good deed and showed it to their classmates. We were particularly pleased how willing and emotionally the guys shared their thoughts. The project continues and we are happy that our ideas cause so much interest!
MARCH 10TH: SCIENTIFIC CONTRIBUTION TO PEDAGOGICS: OUR DIRECTOR'S MONOGRAPH
With great joy and pride, we congratulate our dear director Helen Beregovaya on the presentation of her monograph "The Teacher of Art and the Challenges of Modern Society: Prospects for the Development of Additional Arts Education". One of the main issues in the scientific activity of Elena Borisovna, who believes that the role of the person of a Significant adult in the formation of the pupil's soul is perhaps the greatest and deepest, is the importance of the teacher in the life of the child. How to overcome emotional burnout, how to create an active environment for interaction in a pedagogical collective, how to switch from authoritarian influence to the path of constructive dialogue, how to maximize the potential of art in education as effectively as possible? All these issues are very acute in the book, considered as widely as possible and taking into account historical knowledge, on the one hand, and on the other – they are based on the modern facts. We are glad that such a significant contribution has been made to pedagogical science!

FEBRUARY 23RD: WONDERFUL GIFT
Do you know, dear friends, what the "samulnory" is? Thanks a lot to the «Vse vmeste» («All Together») Charitable Gethering ! Thanks to you, dear colleagues, we were able to enjoy the wonderful music of samulnori on a festive day. We really enjoyed it!
And now a little bit about the concert itself. So, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Russia helped organize a concert of the Korean percussion group «Noreum Machi».
Samulnori is a Korean kind of musical art, playing on original folk percussion instruments. Korean words "sa" and "mule" are translated as "four instruments", and "nori" means the verb "to play." Each of the four drums symbolizes the hieroglyph associated with the sky: lightning, clouds, thunder (or wind) and rain. The music played by these instruments is like an indomitable element. The drumsticks are flying, the sounds of the ancient drums charge the air with indomitable energy, mixing into an unusual for the ear melody.
This concert was organized within the framework of the program of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea "Korean art on the road". This program is an initiative of the Korean government aimed at promoting Korean culture abroad.
Ensemble "Norim Machi", created in 1993, seeks to rediscover Korean traditional music to the world, which would be in tune with our time, but did not lose its structure and unique style. Through active performances at prestigious international festivals and theatrical scenes, the Korean musical group of the New Wave "Norim Machi" spreads the magic of Korean music around the world, fascinating the public with the traditional sound of Korea. The team is a frequent guest on the world's leading music venues. There are numerous of successful tours in 180 cities and 60 countries of the world, including: Italy, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, USA, Australia, Japan, Brazil, Venezuela, Cambodia and many others behind the virtuoso musicians.
Together with other spectators, we were given a unique opportunity to get acquainted with exotic Korean instruments, a drum in the form of a sandglass changu, a beech double drum, a large metal gong and a small metal gong. By the way, the traditional peasant music performed on these percussion instruments in the repertoire of the musical ensemble is accompanied by a combination of shamanic rhythms and popular songs.
Thank you from the bottom of our heart for such a wonderful gift!
FEBRUARY 21ST: THE SEMINARS IN A FRAMEWORK OF "PROFLAB 2017" PROJECT: WE ARE LEARNING TO SEE CHILDREN IN A DIFFERENT WAY
The priority project of the Fund, "PROFLAB 2017", continues to share news. Two seminars, without which it would be impossible to further develop the multi-layered program of the course oriented, in many ways, to changing the awareness of the TSSSV employees , and developing the perception of their professional mission in a new perspective, were held at the hospitable «Blagosphere». Within two days the students were introduced to three main topics.
First students got acquainted with the latest changes in the legislative framework on the topic of orphanhood. Than the group together with the trainer Julia Kurchanova expressed their opinion, answering the question "Why do we need changes in the
Institutions? ". We also studied new fundamental for this professional sphere notions, such as affection. Considered the affection formation in children with disabilities.
During the second day the participants got acquainted with the stages of the experience of grief, learned about the peculiarities of the children's experience of loss, and what can be done in an institution to help children and minimize the experience of new losses.
Seminars were brilliantly conducted by Julia Robertovna Kurchanova, representing our partner, the «Volontery v pomosch detyam- sirotam» (Volunteers help orphans) Charity Fund (www.otkazniki.ru).
The students reacted very emotionally to the viewing of two documentaries: "John" and "The Road Home." The films, as they say, ouched participants of the seminar on a sore place. Also, each student in our course received a small gift, including a very important for the ideas of "PROFLAB" project book by Ruben Gallego "White on Black. "The main humanistic message of this book is seeing a person with disabilities as an equal, endowed with not limited, but rather special abilities. And we share this message, wishing the employees working with such children also see their potential and learn to unlock it.

We have decided to be in touch with these wonderful researchers and brilliant speakers and to continue cooperation with them. The contest has made a very good impression. The projects have been made with great depth and insight into the subject. The breadth of the interests of children is very significant. There were many examples of creative approach and good execution of the stands. In general, there is much to learn, sakes alive!
